Porcelain dolls are not intended for children to play with. They are as fragile as any fine piece of china or porcelain. They are intended for adults who appreciate fine works of art . These dolls can be dressed. Wigs can be changed and styled as desired. They can be posed to just about any position. The dolls should never be posed without the support of the doll stand or doll furniture to avoid breakage. Please follow the recommendations of care listed below to have and enjoy your porcelain dolls for many years to come.
Helpful hints of what to do:
1) The dolls should be posed and bend without force.
2)
Hold the doll
gently and move the limbs within their sockets carefully in the direction of
their slits.
3)
You may clean the dolls
surface with a moist sponge. Do not allow the water or soap to go inside the
doll.
4)
Dress and undress
the doll carefully.
Helpful hints of what to avoid:
1) Avoid dropping, handling roughly or banging the doll.
2)
Do not submerge the
doll in water or any type of liquid.
3)
Do not force the
limbs to move in ways that they were not designed to move.
4)
Do not pull the
limbs and joints out of their socket. This may overextend the springs and cause
the limbs to become loose.
5)
Do not stand the
doll without the support of the doll stand or doll furniture to insure
stability and avoid breakage.
6) Do not take the doll apart at any time this may
cause breakage and personal injury. I will not accept the doll for repairs if
it has been intentionally disassembled.
